In the middle of january it goes back to Longyearbyen and civilization with many new students arriving.
Finally i found some people to join scootertrips a bit further.
So we drived on our first longer Scootertrip to colesbay, whereby we used every bit of twilight which came back in the end of january
Spitzbergen up and down, a skiing race up and down Trollsteinen.
The goal was right behind our barrack.
the safety course this semester was a bit more intense.
Including glacier rescue, avalanche training and... a bath between the ice
Finally Sysselmannen showed his helicopter in the end of the safety course
longyearbreen at night was always a nice evening trip by scooter
and we got a new barrack fox
The first twilight came back in the middle of January :)
